Rajiv,
Did you LC mention the requirements for your job. Unless it emphasized that a Masters was needed for your job profile on an LC, I140 will be denied. File an MTR right away along with a new I140 uner EB3. Beleive in god and ur priority dates will remain the same as they were. Make sure that the new I140 under EB3 matches your LC.

It's obvious. This lawyer wants to make money for applying H1-b (transfer ~ $5000 typically). If you use EAD he gets zilch.:D:D:D:D:D:D

Hi,
My EAD expires October 21 2008. I had applied for EAD and AP renewal July 1 and got my LIN numbers by July 7th. The official dates on the USCIS websites are for July 7th. I have not gotten my FP notices yet.
Can anybody tell me based on experience, how long is it taking for NSC to approve renewal cases?
My PD is July 2003 - EB3.

Stephen Colbert on comedy central has turned out to be one of the most influential persons in the media. Along with Jon Stewart, Stephen is supposed to be one of the influencers of young minds for the last congressional elections.
I am not sure if he has really taken any stance on legal immigration. I am confident that it is favorable.
A question is whether IV has really approached Stephen. Lately, I saw Jack Welch on the show. Apparently, every congressmen who appeared on Colbert's show has won the last election.

I am damn sure that a lot of law makers (or their staff) enjoy Stephen's antics.
Stephen Colbert CERTAINLY is one of the most influential people in American Media. Especially after he made fun of Bush in front of him at White House Correspondents Dinner.
Man if we (all members of IV) can kick start a debate on legal immigration and direct the debate in a manner that Sen Sessions can be brought to spotlight for his inconsistencies, it would be a major achievement for us. Colbert has been extremely vital in shaping public opinion for democrats this November!

hmmm....cannot say in my case i had all the paystubs for the months before i resigned...it was only i left i didnt got the 2 paystubs though for 1 salary was paid and even bank statement is reflecting that and my employer confirmed by sending a mail......
It is a serious breach of not giving paystub bit kind of chicken egg problem becoz if u complain ot DOL tey ara for certin going to tear him off but he has liberty of cancelling you r visa.....
I know a ldy who was harrases in this manner , she wrote to DOL...and action was very promt.....and after few months she left those guys....
I hope this helps.......

Do you know why this rule was changed?
I believe if both parents are foreign nationals, and become indian nationals, their children are eligible for OCI, but children of Indian nationals by birth are not.
See, even the Indian Govt. discrimmintes against its own citizens. How can you blame the US government for treating us like horse manure.

and got her OCI stamp and cards. Couple days ago a friend of me got
rejected. He was told that "if both parents are indian citizen child is not
eligible for OCI"
After I heard it, I talked to Indian Consulate SFO, and they told that
this condition is included recently. So whoever got OCI are good. ( I hope so!)
OCI is definitley better since you dont have to do anything after you get that. OCI does not need to goto police station and report in india etc etc.

How to know if name check has been done. Is there a number to call to confirm NC clearance?.

Name check and fingerprint check are different. Fingerprints are generally getting cleared next day. Not the same with namecheck.

Did you think of maybe reversing the stroke and fill colours of the font to achieve better contrast? instead of green stroke white outline, the apple, for example, reverse it so that it is white on the outside, green on the inside, because the green tends to blend in with the fruit.

I spoke with the lawyer. She asked me to get an affidavit stating the arrest reason and also what happened. She will send this as soon she gets my receipt number.
I am not having any case/docket number since this happened 4 years back.

The spreadsheet is totally sorted now according to the PD. I had to make one change though. The day of the month of PD was not mentioned and I had to write something to sort it out. I made it 1st of the month for everybody to be able to so sorting. You can change the day if you want to. Also please do not sort the data yourself. I will do it periodically.
